Widgit Software develop a number of applications which use symbols to support literacy and communication.
Although much of their site is dedicated to supporting their commercial products, Widgit also provide many free downloads of symbol based resources which do not require their software to view or print.
Widgit also maintain Symbol World which is a free to access symbol-based website you can view with any web browser.
