QIMO : Free Education Software

QIMO is a Linux desktop for kids based on Ubuntu 10.4. It can be run as an optional session on an existing Ubuntu installation or used as the main operating system to revive and repurpose an old computer or netbook.

QIMO includes a collection of educational software and creative games. Its an attractive and easy introduction to Linux for kids.

Downloads include an ISO image to make a bootable CD for installation and a pre-built image to use in Virtual Box on Windows or OSX computers.
