Free Downloads : Coins Machine

Updated June 2010 - now includes a Mac/OSX version and two sets of UK coins (new and old designs) as well as Euro, US and Australian currency.

The coins machine is a beat the clock addition game in which players must accumulate a target amount in coins.

The game is useful for developing and practicing strategies around hundreds, tens and units as well as supporting other work on coin recognition and money skills.

Australian Updates
Australian copper coins have been removed, 50c coin image corrected and targets are now in 5c increments

Linux Updates
A linux binary has been added - upack the archive with 'tar xpvfz filename'. Ubuntu users may experience audio latency, this is due to bugs in PulseAudio which have been reported to Ubuntu.
