Turner Syndrome is a condition affecting girls caused by X chromosome deletion. Incidence is up to 1 in 2000 female births. Turner Syndrome is associated with specific learning disabilities - commonly secondary dyscalculia & dyspraxia. Potential physical traits of the condition are numerous but generally only a few are present for each individual. See the TSS site page right for more info. Hearing impairment is common amongst girls with Turner Syndrome. Moderate behavioural problems are also common but not general features of the syndrome.
